Electro-Acupuncture is a technique that uses electric currents along with acupuncture needles to enhance the therapeutic effects, especially in treating chronic pain and neurological issues.

All programs are supervised during the In-Class Practicums, where safety techniques, clean needle techniques, depth/angle safety, various conditions and hands-on practice enable practitioners to feel comfortable performing their basic acupuncture/acupressure in a clinical setting.

IMAI’s TCM Diploma curriculum embraces Ontario, B.C. and U.S. curriculum models. Upon successful exam completion, student’s have the title of “Acupuncturist” and with insurance, can legally treat patients using TCM diagnosis. Extended Health Benefits, for the most part include acupuncture by an Acupuncturist with a billing number and in good standing with the CTCMPAO Board.
